Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong product design capabilities and experience in CAD software. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of aluminium die-casting, IP-rated enclosure design, and engineering documentation to support the development of innovative products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and products.
- Prepare 2D and 3D designs using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Design products considering aluminium die-casting manufacturing processes.
- Develop IP66-rated enclosure designs.
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings and design documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and certifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product improvements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of product engineering principles.
- Knowledge of aluminium die-casting processes.
- Experience in IP66 enclosure/product design.
- Familiarity with engineering standards and certification requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
