Key Responsibilities:
Primary Role: Data Visualization Specialist
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using QlikSense.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to gather and
understand data visualization requirements.
• Transform complex datasets into clear and concise visualizations that tell compelling
stories.
• Optimize QlikSense applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in visualizations through validation and
quality assurance processes.
• Stay updated on QlikSense features, extensions, and best practices to continually improve
visualization outputs.
Secondary Role: Software Development
• Work alongside our software development team to develop, test, and maintain software
applications and tools that integrate with QlikSense or support data analytics processes.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in programming languages such as C#,
Python, JavaScript.
• Collaborate with the IT and engineering teams to design APIs and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applications.
• Stay current with software development trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative
solutions to the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
experience.
• Proven experience in data visualization with QlikSense.
• Proficiency in QlikSense scripting, data modeling, and visualization techniques.
• Experience in software development using languages such as C#, Python or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of data storytelling and user-centered design principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
• Experience with QlikSense extensions and custom visualizations.
• Familiarity with SQL and database systems for data extraction and transformation.
• Knowledge of modern software development frameworks and tools (e.g., React, Flask).
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Experience in a specific industry or domain (e.g., healthcare, finance, marketing).
