Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts while also having a good understanding of manual testing concepts.
You’ll collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level automated testing.
- Execute performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or similar.
- Identify, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, Trello, Mantis, or Bugzilla.
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and reporting throughout the SDLC and STLC.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve defects.
- Apply manual testing knowledge when required for exploratory or validation testing.
Required Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Automation Testing tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or equivalent frameworks).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Strong team collaboration and client-facing skills.
- Confident, assertive, and a self-motivated professional.
