Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive sales growth for our laboratory equipment business across assigned regions. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding the company’s presence in the scientific and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads and develop new business opportunities for laboratory equipment and related products.
- Manage end-to-end sales activities including enquiry generation, product presentation, negotiation, and order closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, dealers, research institutions, laboratories, and industrial clients.
- Identify potential customers in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, healthcare, education, research, food, and manufacturing sectors.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate with technical teams for customer support.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals for the allocated territory.
- Prepare sales reports, market feedback, competitor analysis, and sales forecasts.
- Handle customer queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Travel extensively within the assigned region for customer meetings and business development activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–5 years of experience in sales of laboratory equipment / scientific instruments / analytical instruments / medical or industrial equipment.
- Must have proven experience in handling B2B sales.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory products and applications.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage territory and achieve sales targets.
- Customer-oriented approach with strong relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Candidates from laboratory equipment suppliers, scientific instruments, pharma equipment, analytical instruments, or related industries will be preferred.
- Existing networks with laboratories, industries, institutes, and research organizations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Visit customers to generate new business enquiries.

- Prepare quotations/proposals and follow up for order closure.

- Process RFQs accurately and within timelines.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Provide technical consultation to customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams for new product introductions and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and vendors.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure business growth.
- Follow up on payments and collections for the assigned territory.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in technical sales of industrial automation products.
- Good understanding of Drives, Motors, PLC, HMI, Motion Control, or related industrial automation solutions.
- Strong communication, customer handling, and technical presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits within the assigned region.
