Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
2. Prepare and review bank reconciliations, vendor and customer reconciliations.
3. Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings accurately and within deadlines.
4. Assist in preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts.
5. Support and coordinate internal and statutory audits, including audit documentation.
6. Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Work efficiently on advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
9. Operate and maintain accounting records using relevant accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. CA Inter qualified (completed IPCC or Intermediate level).
2. 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
3. Proficiency in Tally / Busy / Zoho / ERP systems.
4. Strong command over Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting).
5. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other compliance requirements.
6. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, gather necessary materials, record minutes, and follow up on action items for meetings.
Communication Management: Handle incoming and outgoing emails and phone calls, acting as a gatekeeper to prioritize urgent matters and ensure timely responses.
Travel and Logistics: Arrange and book business travel, visas, and accommodations, creating detailed itineraries.
Document and Presentation Preparation: Draft letters, reports, and presentations; transcribe and format documents for the MD.
Confidentiality: Maintain the utmost discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive company and personal information.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact, liaising with employees, clients, and other stakeholders on behalf of the MD.
Project Support: Assist with ongoing projects, including research, data collection, and tracking deadlines and deliverables.
Administrative Support: Perform various other administrative tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the MD’s office.

Responsibility Area Key Tasks

Financial Reporting  – Generate all sales and financial reports from Tally for Management Information System (MIS) preparation.
Data Analysis  – Use Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF) to analyze Tally data and prepare accurate reports.
Business Communication – Handle all professional business drafting in English. Must clearly understand instructions given in Hindi or Punjabi.
Task Management – Prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks efficiently. Responsible for managing own work schedule and diary to meet deadlines.
General Support – Use good computer knowledge for daily operations. Handle task-based liaisoning (following up on work) via phone and email.
Software – Excellent Tally report generation skills and Advanced Excel proficiency.
Language – Very good English drafting capability. Strong verbal communication and logical approach to discussion.
Experience – Experience in a trading business (high customer  interaction) and strong skills in multi-tasking and  prioritization.
Knowledge – Basic understanding of  accounting principles.
