JD Job Description: The ITManager with Business Development responsibilities is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with business acumen. In addition to overseeing the technology infrastructure and systems, this role also involves Collaboration with the video editor, web developer, and SEO specialist to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of their respective areas and bidding on Upwork. The ITManager will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and driving growth for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Technology Infrastructure Management:
Ensure the availability, security, and integrity of all IT systems and data.
Collaborate with the video editor, web developer, and SEO specialist to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of their respective areas.
Work closely with the SEO specialist to optimize websites for search engine rankings and implement effective digital marketing strategies.
Ensuring high-quality and engaging content that aligns with the organization’s goals and target audience.
Lead a cross functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines and schedules
Excellent Understanding of the bidding portals like Upwork, PPH, Freelancer, Fiverr etc.
Ability to place bids, train & manage bidding team and get as many responses (leads) as possible.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
Create compelling proposals and bid on relevant projects to secure new clients and projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Team Management:
Manage a team of IT professionals, including the video editor, web developer, and SEO specialist etc.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring the timely completion of projects.
Budgeting and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources for both technology infrastructure and business development activities. Monitor expenses related to video editing, web development, SEO, and business development, making recommendations for cost-saving measures. Should be open to work in rotational shifts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in IT management roles, preferably with hands-on experience in video editing, web development, SEO, and business development.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
Proficiency in video editing software, web development languages, SEO techniques, and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
Certification in relevant technologies and business development strategies is a plus.
