Job Description:
Manage and/or perform detailed implementation of communication system solutions and services
which satisfy the requirements of the customer, end users and operator;
Support the update of system ‘as built’ documentation
May be asked to perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance to customer systems under
support contract
Build Customer relationships; presenting technical solutions to Customer, partners and suppliers
and providing Customer technical consultations, advice and review as well as technical
documentation as per the Contract requirements
Provides technical support and consultations for / with the CCSi and clarification of technical
issues with the Customer, third parties and within Motorola Solutions.
Provide 3rd party management for ordering, installation and integration, documentation, quality
management and acceptance testing, technical change management.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and (on-site) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), while
coordinating all technical aspects of the acceptance testing.
Work with product groups to ensure equipment is available to meet project timescale.
Provide technical support during all project phases
Support SW / HW upgrades
Support System Multi-Cluster Connection
Attending case status updates, project reporting etc.
Depending on the project scope, a Senior Field Engineer may take a technical lead role
responsible for overall deployment, test and handover. Alternatively, the Senior Field Engineer
role might specialize in a particular area or sub-system based on their skills and experience.
The Senior Field Engineer role may also fulfil the role of a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
supporting projects and opportunities across the wider region.
Basic Requirements
Engineering Degree or equivalent in Electronics & Telecommunications / Information
Technology;
Minimum 3 years’ experience in telecommunications or Tetra industry with projects involving
complex Tetra system, applications and leading-edge technology
Experience in managing project for the detailed design, field implementation and system
acceptance of large telecommunications and or IT projects for last 3 years
Technical leadership and up-to-date understanding of state-of–art on communication/IT
technology and on large-scale system integration
Proven ability to successfully manage the engineering/implementation budget to within contract
schedule and meet Project P&L
Experience in developing software quality management system, system availability engineering
and design safety analysis
Strong leadership qualities and inter-personnel skills

Basic Requirements
Key qualifications of the Account Manager
5-10 years’ experience in sales, pre-sales, and/or project management in mission critical
communications. .
Willingness to travel on short notice as and when required.
Self-motivated, Innovative thinking, Strong goal orientation and results-driven mentality.
Bachelors’ Degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field (MBA preferred).
Government customer facing experience is a plus.
Fluent in English (French optional).
