Job Brief:We are looking for an experienced IT Head to oversee all IT (Information
Technology) functions in our company. You will be responsible for
development, Implementation and maintenance of all our IT and Technical
needs and policies.
The IT Head must be very knowledgeable in IT, SMM and computer
systems. He must have a solid technical background and ablity to
understand, develop, implement and manage all technical and IT related
needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and
implementing IT policies and systems that will meet our objectives.
The goal is to develop Technology driven processes of the company to
have an edge over competitors and gain market leadership position.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all technology operations (e.g Software
development/Apps) and evaluate them according to established
goals.
Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the
implementation of strategies set by upper management
Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine
their technology needs
Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and
software/Apps.
Inspect the use of technological equipment and software/Apps to
ensure functionality and efficiency.
Train the users on how to use software/Apps.
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and
report to upper management
Coordinate with vendors for smooth functioning of Software/Apps.
Control budget and report on expenditure
Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-
efficient contracts
Requirements:
Proven experience as IT Head or similar role
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems,
Software/Apps development and their specifications.
Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software),
networks etc.
Experience in controlling information technology budget.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication abilities.
