Role Objective
To ensure consistent production, high quality, controlled costs, and smooth factory operations of
Lithium Ion Batteries, with minimal dependence on management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Coordination
 Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and finalize timelines
 Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production schedules
 Organize workflow and optimize resources for maximum efficiency
 Ensure on-time production with full ownership of output
2. Assembly Line Management
 Manage complete assembly line operations and manpower deployment
 Monitor production performance, bottlenecks, and output in real-time
 Improve productivity, efficiency, and cycle time
 Ensure repair & maintenance of production equipment
3. Production Setup & Process Ownership
 Set up complete production including hardware & process requirements

 Design production flow, layout, and line structure
 Implement scalable and efficient manufacturing systems
 Take ownership of entire production process end-to-end
4. Quality, Testing & Troubleshooting
 Ensure highest standards of product & process quality
 Implement incoming, in-process, and final quality checks
 Develop EWS and resolve issues in defined timelines
 Establish and monitor quality KPIs for continuous improvement
5. Cost Control & Efficiency
 Drive cost-effective measures to reduce production cost
 Monitor material consumption, wastage, and rejection
 Ensure BOM adherence in production
 Improve cost per unit through efficiency improvements
6. Inventory & Vendor Management
 Plan raw material requirements and coordinate with procurement
 Drive raw material standardization and vendor improvement
 Maintain optimal inventory levels
 Ensure smooth material flow for uninterrupted production
7. Process & SOP Implementation
 Develop SOPs and standard work instructions
 Standardize assembly, testing, and packing processes
 Ensure strict adherence to processes
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives
8. Team Management
 Supervise and evaluate production personnel performance
 Allocate manpower and monitor productivity
 Train team on production, quality, and safety
 Maintain discipline and accountability
9. Maintenance & Equipment Control
 Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance
 Minimize machine downtime
 Monitor equipment performance and utilization
 Maintain logs and maintenance records

10. Cross-Functional Coordination
 Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Service, and Purchase teams
 Align production with customer and internal requirements
 Analyze field failures and implement improvements
 Support new product development and transitions
11. Compliance, Safety & MIS
 Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards
 Maintain ISO and audit compliance
 Track production, rejection, and efficiency data
 Report MIS and key operational insights to management
