1) Responsibilities
Development of the full gearbox including the simulations, parametrizations, strength calculations and
optimizations of all parts (gears, shafts, bearings…)
Performing interference fit calculation
Selection and understanding of oil – for cooling and lubrication
Bill of Material (BOM) definition and management
Creation of engineering drawings and technical documentation
2) Requirements
Understanding of gears and shafts production and manufacturing processes
Understanding of thermal treatment of materials
Advanced technical knowledge and experience in design, packaging, production and testing of Powertrain
systems
Advanced knowledge of CAD software (Solid Works, CATIA…)
Experience in using a professional software for gear design (KISSsoft)
Experience in parametrization of gearbox power, torque, speed ratio and efficiency
Fluent English spoken and written
Good organizational and planning skills
Good knowledge of technological processes
