Responsible for managing day to day cold store operations including inventory, quality of seed stocks, arranging labour and transporters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES
· Responsible for supervising Cold Store Assistants and approval of their expenditure.
· Responsible for supervise checking of incoming material during procurement and outgoing material from cold stores to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
· Monitor cold stores temperature, RH, CO2 limit per company norms.
· Supervise turning operations.
· Ensure timely dispatches to farmers and customers.
· Reconciliation of stocks (incoming and outgoing) i.e bags, tags and seed potato.
· Arrangement of labour for grading operations.
· Responsible for maintaining and updating all the documents/records as per laid down SOP’s.
· Prepration and timely submission of reports.
· Liaison with Mandi Committee regarding operations: Form Q, Market Committee fees, renewals of licence.
