Experience Required : 2 to 4 years
Job Responsibility : As a Test Engineer you will take up end-to-end ownership of the designated projects/products and help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for designing and developing automation test cases, test harnesses and tools for highly optimized and effective test coverage.
Specific Responsibilities:
a) Test planning and Test Design (Creation and prioritization of Test scenarios/Test cases).
b) Preparation of Test environment.
c) Execution of Test cases.
d) Identification, reporting and tracking of defects.
e) Develop, execute and maintain automated tests and test harnesses to ensure high quality.
Essential Skills:
a) Should have sound knowledge and understanding of QA Processes, STLC and SDLC.
b) Should be able to design Test Plan, Test Specification and Test Cases document for product or product feature.
c) Hands on experience on Mobile/Web Application Testing.
d) Strong functional knowledge of Android & Ubuntu OS .
e) Should have good knowledge of Cloud/Web platform.
f) Good functional knowledge of Programming in Java .
g) Hands on experience on Scripting Languages: Python / Shell.
h) Automation Tools and Frameworks : UI Automator/ Appium/ Robotium/ TestNG.
j) Ability to review code and provide meaningful feedback.
k) Strong written and oral communication skills including proactive, positive work attitude.
l) Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgement.
m) Is resourceful and is able to come up with alternative solutions, when addressing problems.
n) Is able to effectively support the team in achieving team goals.
