Primary responsibilities
Infrastructure
Ensure network connectivity throughout the company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure and Internet
connectivity is on par with technical considerations and make recommendations for future
upgrades.
Proactively monitor network to ensure security and high availability.
Personal computers and devices
Maintain network facilities on individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal
computers as well as printers.
Troubleshoot problems reported by users related to areas like LAN / WI-FI issues, Internet
connectivity, operating system, laptop performance, printers and other IT assets.
Administer laptops, printers, routers, switches.
Prepare systems for new employees.
Security
Performing routine audits of systems and software.
Maintain network integrity and security.
General
Maintain inventory of hardware, software.
Evaluate and modify system’s performance.
Participate in preparations for growth.
Coordinate with our outsourcing partners for server, network and desktop hardware, software
and Internet.
Coordinating timely repair and renewal of IT equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance, warranty and insurance agreements.
Together with local management and Nordic IT team, help refine existing and define new IT
policies and processes.
