Responsibilities:
Software Development & Architecture:*
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reusable Python code for complex applications and services.
Lead the technical design and build comprehensive technical approaches* for new features, modules, and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with overall architectural goals and enterprise standards.
* Architect and implement sophisticated scalability solutions and performance optimizations to ensure applications can handle increasing loads, high traffic, and massive data volumes effectively.
* Expertly utilize and contribute expertise across various Python frameworks, including but not limited to FastAPI, Django, Flask, for building high-performance APIs, robust web applications, and mission-critical backend services.
* Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
Database Management & Optimization:*
* Deep expertise in working with and optimizing diverse database systems, including relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
* Design and optimize complex database schemas, write highly efficient and scalable queries, and ensure data integrity, security, and performance across different database technologies.
* Experience with data modeling for analytical and transactional workloads.
Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment:*
* Possess strong, practical knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying, managing, monitoring, and scaling production applications in a cloud-native environment.
* Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and manage infrastructure as code.
* Understand cloud security best practices and cost optimization strategies.
Research & Development (R&D) & Innovation:*
* Proactively engage in R&D to evaluate, experiment with, and integrate cutting-edge technologies, tools, and methodologies that can significantly improve our products and development processes.
* Stay abreast of the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, particularly Generative AI (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models), exploring opportunities for strategic integration into our solutions and building proof-of-concepts.
* Contribute to intellectual property and innovation initiatives.
Problem Solving & System Reliability:*
* Apply exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve highly complex technical issues, optimize system performance, and ensure unparalleled system reliability and uptime in production environments.
* Lead incident response for critical technical issues.
* Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, identify architectural bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.
Collaboration & Mentorship:*
* Collaborate extensively with product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, other developers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical designs and deliver impactful, end-to-end solutions.
* Act as a technical leader and mentor to junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance, conducting knowledge transfer sessions, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
* Contribute to the overall technical roadmap and strategy of the team.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on, demonstrable experience as a Senior Python Developer* with significant contributions to large-scale, production-grade applications.
Proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing highly scalable and resilient solutions.*
*Expert-level proficiency with multiple Python frameworks, including FastAPI, Django, and/or Flask, with experience in building complex APIs, microservices, and web applications. *Deep and broad expertise with various database technologies, including advanced knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, including performance tuning, replication, and sharding strategies.
*Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including services for compute, storage, networking, and databases. Certifications are a plus. *Exceptional analytical and complex problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to debug and resolve critical production issues.
*Demonstrated strong ability to perform R&D, evaluate new technologies, and translate research into practical applications. *Solid understanding and practical experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., working with LLM APIs, fine-tuning models, understanding prompt engineering, or deploying AI models).

are open to a steep learning curve).
Good understanding and hands on experience with tools like O356 and social media
platforms.
Work Location
Based in Bangalore with travel to client sites and industry events as needed (Travel
costs will be covered by the company).
