Salary – 45,000 PM
Location – Chennai

Educational Qualification:  BE / B tech

Any Specific Industry: Auto component industry handling various OEM’s and Tier 1 vendors of OEM’s.

Expected Application Engineer Roles:

1.)   Technical Support to Sales team and Customers.

2.)   initial discussion with customer for customer requirement, product requirement, testing details, DVP expectations & customer mile stones.

3.)   Initial Assembly trials / Installation at customer end, facilitating  regular production at customer end.

4.)   To work with sales and customer on warranty issues and trouble shoot problems/performance requirements.

5.)   Key contact between sales ,EDD  & QA for organizing customer requirements / plant requirements.

6.)   Development follow up alongside concerned sales engineer with customer / internal .

7.)   Development of new Business, Working with EDD, LC on new innovative sealing solutions .

8.)   RFQ / quotation follow up with concerned sales engineer & customer.

9.)   Market study for new product categories & further devising strategy  for customer approach.

 Skills & Competencies:

i.       Technical: BE / B tech

ii.       Generic:  Exposure to application engineering

  Areas of expertise required (Give Details):  Application engineering and service support  to Auto OEM’s/ Tier 1/II supplier of OEM’s.

Desired Candidate Profile

– Having a experience in BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)/Bluetooth (BT) platform interface

-Proficient in Objective-C, C, C++, i phone OS and MAC OS
-Sound knowledge of Cocoa, Xcode, Interface Builder, iPhone simulator, SQLite.
-Should have experience with SDK 3.0+ using standard and intermediate API’s (location, compass, video, camera, etc…)
-Proven experience in Integration of iPhone/iPod touch application with web services
-Aware of iPhone deployment services leveraging Enterprise Management
-Should have working knowledge in Object Oriented Techniques & MVC architecture
-Should have good Communication skills.
-Should have technical bent of mind
-Should have problem solving, prioritizing tasks, and multi tasking abilities
-Should be able to understand and handle tasks independently.
