Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Engineer who will focus on promoting and selling Modutec Panels to consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end-users. The role combines strong technical expertise with business acumen to identify opportunities, influence specifications, and close deals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue for Modutec Panels in targeted markets (infrastructure, data centers, industrial, and utilities).
* Build strong relationships with electrical consultants, EPC contractors, and decision-makers to influence tender approvals and project specifications.
* Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals tailored to customer needs.
* Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure product solutions meet customer and project requirements.
* Track and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer demands to position Modutec Panels strategically.
* Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, negotiation, order closure, and post-sales support in collaboration with the service team. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM records to support business growth objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
* Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience:5 years in sales of electrical panels, switchgear, or related electrical infrastructure products.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of LV/MV panels, switchboards (IEC 61439), and power distribution systems.
* Business Acumen: Proven track record in B2B technical sales and tender-based selling.
* Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office, and technical drawing interpretation.
