Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our FMCG manufacturing company. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, managing relationships with key retail and wholesale partners, and promoting our product range in order to increase market share, maximize revenue, and meet sales targets within the designated region or territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth:
Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase the market share of the company’s product range within the assigned region or territory. - Developing and reporting management in regards with the competitor’s land scape at the ground level
- Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key retail and wholesale customers, distributors, and key decision-makers. - Market Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and explore untapped markets to drive growth. - Product Knowledge & Promotion:
Provide detailed product information, demonstrate product benefits, and deliver engaging sales presentations to customers. Ensure that all product features and advantages are clearly communicated to target audiences. - Sales Reporting & Analytics:
Regularly update sales reports, track progress against targets, and analyze sales trends. Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activities. - Merchandising & Shelf Management:
Ensure proper product placement and visibility in retail stores, supervise stock levels, and manage promotional materials to maximize product presence. - Order Management:
Process and manage customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and efficient coordination with supply chain and logistics teams to meet customer needs. - Market Intelligence:
Collect and analyze data on competitors, industry trends, and customer preferences. Provide actionable insights to help shape sales strategies. - Promotions & Campaigns:
Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and other sales activities to drive product uptake and brand awareness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). - Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, in the FMCG industry. - Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Goal-oriented and able to work independently to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and apply them to real-world situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Knowledge of the FMCG industry and its dynamics is highly desirable.
