Roles & Responsibilities of a Researcher in True Crime Case Investigation:1. Case Research: – Find engaging topics on true crime niches from various sources like Feedly, Reddit, and other platforms. – Generate a diverse pool of potential cases to ensure variety and uniqueness. – Conduct preliminary searches for information related to each case to assess the availability of sufficient content.
2. Case Selection: – Assess the amount of information available for each case to determine its suitability for the intended video length. – Strive for originality by choosing intriguing and off-the-beaten-path topics to stand out from competitor channels.
3. Locate Materials:
– Conduct an extensive web search to gather diverse materials related to the chosen case, including article links, victim and suspect backgrounds, 911 calls, CCTV footage, body cam footage, interviews, real-life videos, crime scene clips, pictures of family members, courtroom trials, etc. – Ensure a comprehensive collection of visual and textual elements to enhance the depth of the video.
4. Evaluate Credibility of Sources: – Scrutinize the credibility, truthfulness, and reliability of information sources, especially those found on the internet. – Properly cite all sources used and note relevant information to support the script and video content.
5.
