POSITION: HEAD– SALES – SMF BUSINESS
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Head to lead our Sealed Maintenance Free battery
sales team. The Sales Head will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and mentorship
to sales representatives, as well as assisting them in achieving their sales targets. This role
requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the battery industry, and a proven
track record of driving sales success. Manage channel partners and distributors to ensure
alignment with company objectives, drive sales growth, and optimize distribution channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES-:
1. Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support
to help them achieve individual and team sales targets.
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue growth and market
penetration for Sealed Maintenance Free batteries.
3. Work closely with sales representatives to identify new business opportunities, cultivate
leads, and build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
4. Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, sales training, and industry events
and Build Market.
5. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to sales representatives, helping them
improve their sales techniques, customer interactions, and closing skills.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and
marketing campaigns to support sales efforts.
7. Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track
progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform
sales strategies and tactics.
9. Serve as a liaison between sales representatives and other departments within the
organization, including customer service, product development, and operations, to ensure
seamless communication and collaboration.
10. Payment collection and ensuring Outstanding control within Credit limits provided to the
parties
11. Managing and Coordinating Warranty & After Sales Service for positive after-market
reputation.
QUALIFICATIONS-:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, MBA is a plus.
Proven track record of success in sales management roles, preferably within the battery
industry or a related field and should have been a head of 2 regions in the country.
Strong understanding of Sealed Maintenance Free battery technology, applications, and
market dynamics.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire a team, foster, a positive work culture, and drive performance
excellence.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and
tactics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Control valve, Selling pressure systems, test systems, Fittings, Filters, Flow
Meters, Gauges, Solenoid Valves, , Hoses, Tubing of SST, Leak Detection, is

Experience in selling Instrumentation Products or even Gas (cylinder
/Packaged Gases) is also preferred. Should have experience of dealing in
Industrial products such as / Valves / Transmitters / Actuators / Power
packs / Fittings / Tubing.
Market Experience in R&D facilities, Analytical customers,
He must declare in advance any courses or school he is attending, and he
should be needy for a long-term opportunity.
Must have excellent knowledge of AREA/ REGION
