Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
 Identify and develop new business opportunities for electrical SITC projects in
commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors
 Generate leads through market research, networking, and relationship building with potential
B2B clients
 Prepare and present proposals for electrical solutions including cost estimates and project
timelines
 Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining profitable margins
 Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by management
 Develop strategic partnerships with architects, consultants, contractors, and facility
management companies
Market Intelligence & Networking
 Maintain extensive network with local electrical contractors, OE suppliers, and industry
stakeholders in Bangalore
 Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in electrical
solutions market
 Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build business relationships
 Identify key decision makers in target organizations and establish strong business
relationships
Client Relationship Management
 Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to project handover including collection
 Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and
referrals
 Conduct regular client meetings and follow-ups to understand evolving needs
 Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate project scoping and pricing
 Handle client queries and provide technical consultation on electrical solutions
Administrative & Reporting
 Maintain accurate sales records in MS Excel and CRM systems
 Prepare regular sales reports and business forecasts for management review
 Track project pipeline and conversion rates
 Coordinate with operations team for smooth project execution and delivery
Essential Requirements
Experience & Background
 Minimum 4-6 years of experience in business development/sales in Bangalore’s
electrical/engineering services market
 Proven track record in B2B sales with focus on electrical contractors, facility management,
or commercial projects
 Established network with local electrical equipment vendors, OE suppliers, and industry
contacts in Bangalore
 Experience in selling electrical SITC services, MEP solutions, or similar technical services
Technical Knowledge
 Sound understanding of electrical systems, components, and commercial installation
practices
 Knowledge of electrical project estimation and costing methodologies
 Familiarity with industry standards and electrical safety regulations
 Understanding of tender processes and government/corporate procurement procedures
Core Skills
 Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including data analysis, pivot tables, and sales tracking
 Excellent negotiation skills with ability to close complex B2B deals
 Outstanding communication skills in English with professional presentation abilities
 Working knowledge of Kannada to effectively communicate with local vendors,
contractors, and clients
 Strong analytical skills for market assessment and opportunity evaluation

 Must be based in Bangalore with comprehensive knowledge of local market dynamics
 Well-established network in Bangalore’s electrical/engineering services ecosystem
 Familiarity with key commercial areas and industrial zones in Bangalore
 Knowledge of local business practices and regulatory environment

Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Sales Ownership: Manage the complete sales cycle for enterprise and SaaS products — from initial contact, conducting product demonstrations, understanding client requirements, preparing customized proposals, handling negotiations, and driving deals to closure.
* Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients based in India and overseas markets, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Lead Generation: Generate leads through networking, referrals, and existing client connections. Use creative and strategic approaches to identify and connect with key decision-makers.
* Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate and updated sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report weekly/monthly sales performance to senior management.
* Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets of INR 1 Crore per annum, while contributing to the overall growth strategy of the business.
* Market Intelligence: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide relevant insights and identify new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)
* MBA in Marketing (preferred)
Experience:
* 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B software sales or selling data center services.
* Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in SaaS sales to large-sized enterprises.
* Proven record of closing high-value deals amounting to ₹1 Crore+ in annual revenue.
Technical & Professional Skills:
* Deep understanding of enterprise software and SaaS solutions.
* Strong negotiation, proposal writing, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
* Experience working with CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
