Candidate skill set:
Mandatory Technical skills/must haves

 Strong Development and Debugging skills in C++
 Experience on working with various Windows platforms
 Experience in Data Structures and Multi-Threading
 Experience in development of User Interfaces of Desktop Applications using MFC and good
understanding of fundamentals of MFC
Good to haves:
 Some hands-on experience in .NET, C, C# etc.
 Some hands-on experience in SQL type databases

Key Job responsibilities:

 The hired candidate will work with a team of other engineers to develop desktop-based
applications with minimal supervision from the Supervisors and Managers.
 He/she should communicate well with the team, understand the requirements, and develop
the code in a clean and efficient manner. The colleagues could be located anywhere,
including in the US or Europe, and good written communication skills are important.
 The candidate will be responsible for doing research on how to implement various
requirements and making informed decisions in a timely manner. Strong problem solving
skills as well as time and task management skills are essential to perform well in this
position.
 The candidate is expected to understand and utilise appropriate Software Configuration
Management practices, methods and tools.
 The candidate should take active part in meetings and put forth various ideas or solutions to
problems.
