Requirements
1) B.E or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 6 years’ Experience in New Product development, Cost Estimation and documentation.
2) Experience in Various processes like Machining, Stamping, welding and fabrication.
3) Ability to draw process flow for new development items.
4) Good knowledge of Raw material and its properties and should be able to select appropriate material based on requirement.
5) Strong in cycle time calculation and process optimization for maximum output.
6) Good Knowledge of Special processes like heat treatment, Plating, galvanizing, shot blasting, glass bead blasting etc.
7) Good Knowledge of machine hour rates of various processes.
8) Strong Knowledge of Cost estimation and cost negotiations.
9) Basic knowledge of ISO and IATF systems.
10) Strong in AutoCAD and Solid works.
11) Able to frame the concept based on customer inputs for proto sample development.
12) Good Knowledge of inspection methods and strong knowledge of using all measuring instruments.
13) Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques.
14) Candidates from OEM’s or Automotive industries will be preferred.
15) Good oral and verbal communication skills.
16) Good in documentation (PPAP, CP, PFD, PSW, 8D etc) as per customer requirements,
