High skills required in Customer engagement for GS1 India Standards
This job will require extensive engagement/relationship building with GS1 India’s
external customers which include technical consultants, member companies, etc. at
senior-most levels.
Responsibilities:
Candidates will need to develop deep technical understanding of GS1 Standards &
services, customer supply chain business processes & conceptualize solutions.
Skills Required:
10+ years’ similar experience in leading companies with major exposure to
conceptualizing and implementing innovative technical solutions.
Should be well versed with emerging technologies which are redefining industry
business processes. For this, creativity in solution architecting is essential. Candidates
must also display a high level of pro-activeness, accountability, result orientation,
presentation skills & energy levels.
Desirable:
Technical consulting, solution conceptualization experience across industry verticals
through strong customer engagement and relationship
Proven track record of solving tech problems and implementing innovative solutions.
Ability to multitask, negotiate and go-getter kind of mindset is highly required
Role
You will be required to proactively study and understand client supply chain business
processes across Industry sectors, configure and sell solutions based on GS1
standards for achieving targets for the region.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess strong techno-commercial
skills, excellent client relationship building capabilities and demonstrated result
orientation.
The candidate will need to keep abreast with global developments on emerging
technologies, applications related to IoT, Blockchain, AI, etc. and on how they can be
deployed to enhance supply chain performance across organizations.
Extensive interaction would also be required with Government bodies, Regulators
and Industry at the highest levels to enable wide adoption of GS1 global standards
across Retail, Healthcare and Transport & Logistics sectors.

Prior experience
8-12 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record of which at least 5
years should be in a senior position in well-known companies.
Qualifications
