A food merchandiser is involved in supporting the marketing and promotion of food products at various retail locations. This often involves preparing an in-store display to showcase products, communicating on behalf of their employer with clients, fulfilling product orders
The following are the requirements for a food merchandiser which we are looking for
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
1. The food merchandiser should have the ability to learn about the product thoroughly and should be able to pitch to the customers who are coming to the retail shops ( supermarket).
2. Daily duties of a food merchandiser may include inventory management, should make reports on the sale of the products in each supermarket.
3. He should be removing any expired or damaged products, replacing products, and meeting with store managers for re-ordering products.
4. He should go to different supermarkets across Bangalore and should see how the product is being displayed and how neatly it has kept.
5. He should have a two-wheeler
6. He should educate the customers.
7. Should coordinate with the distributor, supermarket and should prepare reports.
8. Should identify the problems in sales, reasons, and strategy to improve the sales.
