• To serve as a liaison with the Central/State Labour
Commissioner.
• To Look after Safety, health and welfare programs like
housing, recreation and sanitation services, as provided under
the law for the time being in force
• Speedy Redressal and appropriate disposal of workers’
grievances in consonance with factory management
• Interpret company policies correctly and make the same
understood the workers in the language they understand
• To act as a bridge/coordinator with the factory management
to design/implement policies appropriately and encourage the
workers to work with productive efficiency
• To take care of all the required compliance in relation to
factory and various Labour laws
