Job Description:
Acquiring new business & following the complete sales cycle – prospecting, generating leads,
meetings, requirement gathering, business proposal, negotiation, related documentation &
closure of lead.
Commercial awareness
Good organization and planning skills
Identify each potential customer’s needs
Formulate business proposals according to customers’ business needs
Attending conferences / exhibitions / seminars (Presently On Hold due to COVID restrictions)
Traveling for client meetings (national / international) – Presently No travel due to COVID
restrictions
Presentations, pre-sales costing and negotiations
Single point of contact for the complete sales cycle for the customer and partners
Post sales relationship management with the customer/client
Working closely with the product team to give them feedback from the market and future
requirements and enhancements in the products
Maintaining knowledge base of the industry
Target based sales and revenue generation
Working to finalize the strategy for sales
Good teamwork Communication skills
Negotiate prices and variations in prices and specifications
Develop new opportunities and close existing ones
Develop detailed territory plans
Ensure appropriate and timely delivery of service and products
Follow up on service and / or product once the delivery has been made
Research market trends and products
Arrange meetings with potential clients
Challenge objections in order to get the customer to buy a product
Record sales & marketing information and maintain customers’ records
Make rapid calculations of costs in order to provide temporary quotations
Prepare sales & marketing reports by analyzing and summarizing information
Review self-sales performance with a view to improve it
Education and Experience
Required business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification like
MBA/PGDBM etc
Experience of working with E-learning/IT software sales or Hospitality Industry sales
Relevant product and industry knowledge
Should be target oriented
Should be able to give presentations & can do negotiations
Should have knowledge of lead generation through various channels

Purpose of this role:
To join the core team responsible for handling the International event by
securing the sponsorships from the Big Corporates, Government bodies and other International
organisations and ensure the organising of the event successfully.
Responsibilities:
Public Relations Strategy:
Execute comprehensive PR strategies to promote our event, increase media coverage, and
generate enthusiasm.
Identify target media outlets, journalists, and influencers to build relationships and secure
media coverage for the event.
Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to effectively
communicate event information and key messages to the media and the public.
Media Relations:
Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage all media relations
activities.
Coordinate press conferences, media interviews, and other media-related events to
maximize media exposure for the event.
Prepare the key personnel for media interactions, ensuring they are equipped with key
messages and talking points.
Sponsorship Acquisition:
Develop a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to attract and secure sponsorships from
potential sponsors.
Identify and research potential sponsors aligned with the event's objectives and target
audience.
Prepare sponsorship proposals and pitch presentations tailored to the needs and interests of
the big corporations.
Conduct meetings, negotiations, and follow-ups with prospective sponsors to secure
sponsorship agreements.
Ability to give presentations to senior bureaucrats and other international bodies and boost
the importance of the event.
Event Promotion:
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop and implement effective
promotional campaigns for the event.
Utilize various marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, content
marketing, and online and offline advertising to maximize event reach and engagement.
Collaborate with local vendors and event promoters and get the best results out of them.
Qualifications:
Bachelor 's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in public relations, media relations, and sponsor acquisition, preferably in
the event management industry.
Experience in event promotion, digital marketing, and social media management.
Excellent data management skills
Flexibility to travel
Track Record of Acquiring Funds and Sponsorships.
