Define the transformation agenda, leads through a team to implement the Transformation
strategy for CU to effectively drive performance and deliver business results.
● Holds accountability for identifying and delivering opportunities for cost savings and meeting
financial targets.
● Work with Legacy Application owners to gain strong understanding on its system roadmap
plan
● Regular review of various ongoing Application Migrations to ensure maximum efficiency and
performance from the deliverables
● Agree the planned Closure and Aspirational Retirement date with Legacy Application
owners
● Work with Technical teams to analyse the VM Optimization scope
● Create a strategic roadmap to optimize the VM’s
● Responsible for creating a process for delivery and agree with stakeholders
● Develop dashboards and reports to support effective governance of transformation
programs and health of Corporate Unit
● Share insights on delivery progress, achievements/misses, areas of interventions to
leadership team
● Risk & dependency management to avoid any miss on target deliveries
● Publish clear dashboard & reports, advice and strategy on the achieving target to maximise
output and quality of transformation programs
● Establishing Key operational governance to drive the unit’s performance. Providing insight to
understand current performance, outlook performance and areas of improvement with
particular emphasis on
● Drives continuous improvement and culture of high performance through strategic programs,
advocating for and effecting behavioural and process change across the organisation by
influencing decision makers and inspiring and motivating others to adopt new ways of
working.
● Enhance core structures, governance, and ways of working from an end-to-end perspective
working across squads, tribes, CU leadership whilst not disrupting in flight delivery
programs.
● Work with the Portfolio Planning & Demand Managers and Tribe Agile Delivery Managers
(RTE) identifying bottlenecks and reducing lead time from Idea to launch.
Skills required for the job ;
● Possess excellent Application domain knowledge,
● Possess typically demonstrable previous Application Migration or related experience
● Experience of methods, tools and planning used in
Application migration projects
● Experience of building Applications Migration strategy
● Experience of handling Application decommissioning and its Archival planning
● Good knowledge of VM’s deployment and optimization
● Program Management skills to lead transformation program deliveries
● Experience working across waterfall and Agile methodology driven projects
● Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders .
Corporate Units through regular meetings and communications
● Must demonstrate an exceptional work ethic, and a good working knowledge of the Digital lifecycle
● Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment with excellent
communication skills, both oral and written along with analytical skills
● Must be a team player able to work professionally and collaboratively with various stakeholders
● Strong understanding of Lean Agile delivery practices with awareness of major frameworks (i.e. SAFe, Kanban)
with the ability to measure team with Agile Metrices
● Good to have program management experience and professional certification
● Industry standard qualifications in Agile Leadership (i.e. Leading SAFe, SAFe POPM) and Scrum Mastering (i.e.
CSM)
