Job Description:
• It’s a top management level job requiring experience in structural design of buildings,management of the design team, coordination with clients such as architects, developers &contractors.• Reporting to the company directors, understanding and discussing company goals, policies,future planning etc.• Assist the managing director in handling new project enquiries, representing the company inIndia as required.• Leading the team technically for structural design & detailing. Assigning teams and teamleaders for the design projects.• Provides technical expertise to the organization and maintains strong client relationships.Provides mentorship to less experienced engineers & detailers.• Suggesting guidelines for structural concepts, analysis models, structural calculations & codecompliance to the related teams for the building projects.• Ensuring timely and technically correct submissions within budgeted manhours. Managingand controlling the design process to good quality and standards.• Developing the staff skill set and planning for recruitment as per projects requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Masters in Structural Engineering.• Minimum 10 to 15 years of work experience in related field.• Demonstrated ability to compose suitable structural system, perform modelling & analysis,member sizing and provide reinforcement details for RCC buildings such as residential,commercial, retail, institutional & industrial buildings.• A working knowledge of relevant Indian codes. Knowledge of foreign codes shall be an addedadvantage.• Knowledge of structural softwares such as Etabs, Safe, SAP, STAAD etc.• Strong detailed design experience RCC buildings low rise to high rise.• Precast structural design know-how shall be an added advantage.• Strong interpersonal leadership skills and effective communication skills. Self motivated withpassion for work.
