Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Representative to expand our market presence and drive sales for our stone chemicals (grouts, sealers, adhesives, cleaners, etc. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Market Development
- Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, fabricators, and contractors.
- Generate and close leads through site visits, cold calling, and networking.
- Promote product adoption in the construction and stone industry.
2. Revenue Generation & Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant chemical products.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (architects, builders, stone fabricators, etc.).
- Provide product demonstrations, training, and after-sales support.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
4. Branding & Market Visibility
- Participate in local promotional campaigns, trade fairs, and workshops.
- Ensure product visibility at distributor outlets and project sites.
- Provide feedback to marketing for improved strategies.
5. Reporting & Market Insights
- Maintain CRM records of sales, customer interactions, and market trends.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports on sales performance and competitor activity.
- Share insights on customer needs and market gaps.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 2-5 years in sales, preferably in stone, construction, or chemical industries.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the local market and customer base.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Other:
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Proficiency in local language and Hindi/English.

- Internet Proficiency – Should be able to use browsers, search engines etc.
