Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our manufacturing company ibn Sales Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting sales and revenue targets in terms of daily, Weekly, Bi – Monthly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi Annually, Annually across all categories. He / She shall be overseeing the sales operations, managing relationships with key clients, driving revenue growth, and developing and leading a team of sales representatives. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to set revenue and sales targets and budgets.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Develop, Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to enhance the team’s skills and productivity.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through effective communication, support, and incentive programs.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, dealers, Omni Channels, Super Markets, and retailers.
- Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored product solutions and ensure the revenue generation within stipulated time frame as and when defined by the company.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty which in turns shall be able to generate revenue
- Sales Execution & Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor sales performance and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure objectives are met.
- Develop sales forecasts and reports, and track progress against targets.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with both new and existing clients.
- Market Expansion & Product Distribution:
- Identify new sales channels and market segments to expand the brand’s presence.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to ensure product availability, pricing, and promotional activities align with sales strategies.
- Oversee the distribution process to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and efficient delivery to customers.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and sales tools.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Provide regular sales reports, performance analysis, and market insights to senior management.
- Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and contract details in the CRM system.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Control sales-related costs and report on any variances.
- Should be capable of travelling as business demands. (Consider 70% to 85% of traveling)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus from a reputed institute and should be shown as an upper edge in the experience.
- Experience:
- At least 9-12 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in FMCG sales or similar industries.
- Previous experience in a managerial role, leading a sales team.
- Strong knowledge of Organic Food products, retail operations, omni channels, market places, modern trade, dealers and distribution networks.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Scheduling appointments, court appearances and meetings with clients and taking notes during meetings to ensure effective follow-up with clients or other parties involved in legal proceedings.
2. Contact management on Outlook and Internal Systems:
Maintaining a distinct repository of contact information of clients and other parties.
3. Travel management:
Arranging travel bookings such as visas, flights, hotel reservations, and rental cars for Practitioners and other clients involved.
4. Vendor Management:
Coordinate and oversee vendor relationships, ensuring seamless communication, contract negotiation, and compliance to optimize organizational operations.
5. Dictation and Word processing:
Taking notes and making documents on MS Word. Formatting documents as per Firm protocols
6. Creating PDF binders:
Merging multiple documents into one PDF document
7. Checking conflicts in mandates:
Checking and circulating conflicts arising in mandates
8. Timesheet Entries:
Filling up timesheets of the reporting Partner and getting timesheets filled by the practitioners in their department. Generate daily and weekly timesheet report and circulate it to Partners and Management.
9. Assistance with Firm events:
Managing logistics and material for events organised by the firm.
10. Personal assistance:
Any miscellaneous activity assigned by any Partner.
