Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software.
- Develop and optimize CAM programs for manufacturing processes.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Modify and improve existing designs for better efficiency and performance.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain design documentation and project files.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CAD/CAM Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and CAM software .
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

- Be capable of proposing or building prototype systems to demonstrate solutions.
- Collaborate with the implementation and support team.
- Analyse client operations and business processes to document and propose efficiencies.
- Propose solutions based around the PI System to solve problems, improve performance, and reduce costs for the customer.
- Design the system architecture, size the systems, help the customer estimate costs, and implement the solution.
- Provide a high degree of technical competency and knowledge to the project in accordance with OSIsoft standards and best practices.
- Complete implementation work/tasks for the project as assigned.
- Expert level of knowledge with the following OSIsoft applications:
- PI Interfaces
- PI Server Administration
- PI Client tools
- Expert level of knowledge with OSIsoft PI Asset Framework:
- Templates
- Analytics
- Elements/Attributes
- Event Frames
- Notifications
- Expert level of custom development in PI vision
- Expert level of PI SDK and PI AF SDK
- OPC Server knowledge
- Able to plan, organize and control work for himself and all direct reports
- Effective communication skills
