Job Title: Company Secretary
We are looking for an experienced Company Secretary who would be the manager’s and company executive’s right hand. As Company Secretary, you will be instrumental in helping the office run smoothly, provide support to managers, senior-level executives, and departments. You’ll need to ensure that our company complies with financial and legal requirements, and maintain high standards of corporate governance. You also need to have a thorough understanding of the laws
that affect your areas of work so that you are equipped to provide appropriate legal advice whenever needed.
Responsibilities of a Company Secretary
A company secretary’s core duties include optimizing workflow procedures in the office, assisting colleagues and executives in planning and distributing information, and being the point of reference for all queries, requests, or issues. Additionally, as a company secretary, you’ll need to:
Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points.
Convene and service AGMs, take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns with appropriate departments.
Provide legal, financial, and/or strategic advice during and outside of meetings.
Ensure policies, regulatory, or statutory changes that might affect the organization are up to date and approved by the committee.
Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
Handle correspondence, collate information, write reports and communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders.
Liaise with external regulators and advisers such as lawyers and auditors.
Implement processes or systems to ensure good management of the organization.
Develop and oversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements.
Manage the office space and deal with personnel administration and company/staff insurance policies.
Requirements
A strong understanding of corporate law and regulatory frameworks is foundational. Company Secretaries must interpret and apply legal provisions to ensure the organisation’s
activities meet statutory requirements.
Strong administrative skills and an aptitude for using IT software.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Commercial awareness.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.

Job Description
1. Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities for BOPP films in the global market (UAE) with a focus on high-growth regions and countries.
2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with international customers, including packaging companies, converters, and distributors
3. Conducting market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
4. Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and other sales conditions with international customers
5. Collaborating with internal teams, such as logistics and operations, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of BOPP films to international customers
6. Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our market share
7. Providing market feedback and insights to the management team to inform business decisions
8. Staying up-to-date on industry regulations, standards, and certifications, and ensuring compliance in all sales activities
Requirements and Skills:
1. Minimum 1-5 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the packaging industry, with a focus on BOPP films or similar products
2. Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth in international markets
3. Strong understanding of the global packaging industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer needs
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with international customers
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and revenue growth
6. Proficiency in English, with additional languages (such as Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, etc.) an advantage
7. Familiarity with the Dubai market and or experience working in the Middle East region is a plus.
