Job Description / Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in Mumbai. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to new business development, lead generation, account management, and effective communication with clients.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and market trends in the civil engineering industry.
Generate leads through networking, online research, and other proactive methods.
Build and maintain relationships with clients by understanding their needs and effectively communicating the value of our services.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client expectations align with project capabilities.
Assist in the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, tenders and project estimates.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
Meet and exceed sales targets by actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Provide regular updates to clients on project progress and new service offerings.
Attend industry conferences, events, and trade shows to represent the company and build a professional network.

Your expertise will be crucial in managing accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and advising on tax and audit matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses to support financial planning.
Tax Compliance: Manage tax planning and compliance, including preparation of tax returns and liaison with tax authorities.
Audit Management: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and recommendations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, implementing and monitoring internal controls.
Financial Advice: Provide strategic financial advice to management, including cost analysis, profitability assessment, and investment recommendations.
Record Keeping: Oversee and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior accountants and finance staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant (C.A.) designation or equivalent.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2 – 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role or industry.
Skills:
o Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
o Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
