Overview: A Senior Interior Designer is responsible for leading and managing interior design projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
   • Lead and manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously.
   • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
   • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
2. Design Development:
   • Create and present design concepts, mood boards, and sketches to clients.
   • Develop detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
   • Select and specify materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
3. Client Interaction:
   • Conduct client meetings to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.
   • Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients throughout the design process.
   • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
4. Team Leadership:
   • Supervise and mentor junior designers and design assistants.
   • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members.
   • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
5. Technical Expertise:
   • Ensure all design work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
   • Prepare and review detailed construction drawings and documentation.
   • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
6. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Extensive experience (typically 5-10 years) in interior design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment: Senior Interior Designers typically work in design firms, architectural offices, or as independent consultants. ·         Fluency in both written and spoken English.

·         Must have extensive experience across a broad range of travel related disciplines. Must possess excellent people management skills, with highly effective communication and negotiation skills.

·         Must have prior experience in travel industry product pricing, contract negotiation and must be familiar with the unique complexities associated with the industry and airline and customer requirements.

·         Must have proven track record of strategic planning.
