Job Responsibilities:
The ASM is primarily responsible for sales in his assigned territory for the Collins Hardware range of
products. His / her responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Develop & implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, interior designers,
contractors, and other industry professionals
3. Identify new business opportunities, dealers, and super dealers, and convert them into sales to
expand the customer base
4. Track refill orders of key accounts to ensure consistent achievement of targets
5. Stay well-informed of all products, new launches, key schemes and communicate the same to
channel sales members
6. Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain
strong customer relationships
7. Ensure timely collection of payments
8. Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize
their performance and productivity
9. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, and present
them to the Manager for review
10. Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas of improvement and propose appropriate strategies.
11. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and
customer preferences, and provide insights for business development
12. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop sales materials, promotional campaigns,
and product presentations to enhance brand visibility and drive sales
Key Qualifications:
● 3 years of on-field sales experience
● Proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales target
● Comfort with extensive traveling required for an on-field sales job
● Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
● Fluency in Hindi and reasonable fluency in English
● Ability to lead and manage a team and their performance
● Self-starter with a solution and result-oriented mindset
Desirable
● Experience in the hardware / modular furniture industry with an understanding of products,
trends, and competitors
● Experience in managing a team
