Purchase Related works:
1. Upon the request mail receipt from R&D and Production teams, contacting different suppliers, getting the negotiated best offer quotes and raising the Purchase order.
2. Raising queries and receiving the quality related documents from different suppliers.
3. For new raw materials, comparing the quotes and requesting for samples from different suppliers.
4. Choosing the right suppliers based on quality, price, lead time and raising the Purchase Order for the commercial orders.
5. Coordinating for payments towards invoices received from the suppliers
6. Coordinating with the suppliers and transport companies till the material reaches the concerned department.
7. Maintain records for COA, Quality documents and updating the tracker sheet for the same.
8. Renewal works for Quality related documents like FSSAI, Kosher etc.
9. Exploring new suppliers for back up though we have approved suppliers.
Logistics Related works:
1. For all the commercial shipments, based on the shipment date, contacting the logistics company and get a quote for the shipment & selecting the best one in the means of cost & transit time.
2. Preparing and submitting the documents for customs clearance as per the Logistics company’s format.
3. Coordinating with the logistics company till the shipment’s Customs clearance is done.
4. Have to apply and get the Health Certificate for the shipments to Europe through Shefexil/EIA.
5. Have to raise Web Entry & FDA Prior Notice for all the commercial & sample shipments to USA.
6. Arranging for Fumigation certificate.
7. Coordinate with the packing team for palletization.
8. Coordinate with the Transport companies for the Shipment pick up.
9. Tracking the shipment till it reaches the customer.
10. Have to coordinate with Logistics company & get Shipping bills & Bill of Entries as soon as the shipment work is completed.
11. For all the sample shipments, Preparing and submitting the shipment documents to the courier service providers & coordinate the shipment pick-up and track the courier details till the shipment reaches the destination.
12. Maintain trackers for all the commercial shipments & Sample shipments separately.
