  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the designated territory or market segment.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to promote sales of company products or services.
  3. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
  4. Understand customer requirements, specifications, and project needs to provide customized solutions and proposals.
  5. Prepare and deliver sales quotations, proposals, and contracts in a timely manner.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to address customer inquiries, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the management, including revenue, margin, and product mix goals.
  8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and market expansion.
  9. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence to the sales management team.
  10. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company products and services and enhance brand visibility.
  11. Continuously enhance product knowledge, technical skills, and sales techniques through training programs and self-study.
  12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all business dealings and interactions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in technical sales, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  3. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles, particularly in the relevant industry.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  5. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  6. Result-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
  8. Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
  10. Positive attitude, self-motivated, and customer-focused approach.
