Job Description:
A Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing
mechanical systems, components, and equipment. They collaborate with
cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet project requirements
and industry standards. The role involves utilizing computer-aided design (CAD)
software, conducting analysis, and ensuring designs are feasible, reliable, and
cost-effective. Additionally, Mechanical Design Engineers may be involved in
prototyping, troubleshooting, and supporting manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designing and developing mechanical systems, components, and equipment
according to project specifications.
2. Utilizing CAD software (SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and
detailed engineering drawings.
3. Conducting analysis and simulations (e.g., finite element analysis, computational
fluid dynamics) to validate designs and optimize performance.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers,
industrial designers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure design feasibility
and integration.
5. Participating in design reviews, providing technical input, and incorporating
feedback to improve designs.
6. Creating and maintaining engineering documentation, such as design
specifications, test plans, and reports.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during development and
manufacturing stages.
8. Evaluating and selecting appropriate materials, components, and suppliers to
meet quality, cost, and performance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience (min-3 years) in mechanical design engineering.
3. Proficiency in CAD software ( SolidWorks) for 2D and 3D modeling.
4. Strong knowledge of engineering principles (statics, dynamics,
kinematics,thermals, materials, and manufacturing processes.
5. Experience with simulation and analysis software (basic to medium designer
level simulation) for design validation.
6. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.(optional)
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Effective communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate
with cross-functional teams.
10. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs.
11. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
12. Knowledge of prototyping techniques and hands-on experience with tools and
equipment is a plus.
13. Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM), DFMEA and design for assembly
(DFA) principles and other robust design tools.

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Service/Operations Head with
over 10 years of extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of
Electronic Security, Fire Detection/Suppression and Integrated Building
Management Systems (IBMS). The successful candidate will have a proven
track record of efficiently managing teams across regions, ensuring high-
quality service delivery and optimizing operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the service and
operations department in alignment with overall organizational
goals.
• Provide vision and direction to achieve excellence in service
delivery.
2. Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and manage teams across regions, fostering a
culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous
improvement.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among team
members.
3. Service Delivery:
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of Electronic Security,
Fire Detection/Suppression, IBMS & allied systems / solutions.
• Ensure service quality, responsiveness, and timely issue
resolution.
4. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to
understand their evolving needs and expectations.
• Address client concerns promptly and ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction.
5. Regional Operations:
• Efficiently manage service and operations activities across
multiple regions.
• Implement standardized processes while considering regional
variations and requirements.
6. Performance Metrics:
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to
evaluate team and individual performance.
• Regularly assess and improve operational efficiency based on
metrics.
7. Resource Planning:
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet service
demands.
• Optimize staffing levels, skill sets and equipment to ensure
efficient operations.
8. Training and Development:
• Implement training programs to enhance the technical skills
and knowledge of service teams.
• Keep the team updated on industry advancements and best
practices.
9. Budget Management:
• Develop and manage budgets for service and operations.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective measures
without compromising service quality.
10.Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement
best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within
the service and operations teams.
11.Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure
working environment.
12.Emergency Response Planning:
• Develop and implement effective emergency response plans to
address critical situations promptly.
• Conduct regular drills and assessments to ensure preparedness.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related
field.
• 10+ years of experience in the operation and maintenance of
Electronic Security, Fire Detection/Suppression and IBMS.
• Proven experience in managing teams across regions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry-specific technologies and best
