Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize purchasing and supplier selection processes
Lead a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms
Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, assess inventory needs, and plan purchasing initiatives
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier capabilities

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
Proven experience as a Purchase Head or in a similar leadership role within the Manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with ERP and procurement software systems

Having experience in the field of Sales of Industrial Valves and Controls, Pumps and other mechanical product line to various industrial segments including Power, Textile, Sugar and Distillery, FMCG, Dairy, food & pharma etc.
1) Searching for new customers who could benefit from our products in a designated region.
2) Travelling to visit potential customers.
3) Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers.
4) Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
5) Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs.
6) Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
7) Offering after-sales support services and administering customer accounts.
8) Analysing costs and sales. Preparing reports for management.
9) Meeting regular sales targets. Recording and maintaining client contact data
10) Coordinating sales projects.
11) Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
12) Making technical presentations and demonstrating how our product will meet customer needs.
13) Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
14) Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
