JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Research, develop and optimize product formulations for brand products within Nutraceutical and Health Supplement Products portfolio, ensuring they adhere to all Regulatory requirements, out class competition and live up to customer expectations.
Must be aware about FDA Norms to exports to US, EU
Responsible for developing new and improved dietary supplement formulations.
Establish stability of each product by getting stability testing (accelerated/on-going) done on all new products and review/report results in collaboration with Quality Assurance Dept.
Sound problem solving skills and good scientific judgment are required.
Good communication skills and the ability to work on interdisciplinary teams are required.
Hands on small-scale equipment and good understanding of large scale conventional pharmaceutical equipment is required. Familiarity with project management methodology is necessary.
Participate in the set-up and commissioning of R&D and pilot-scale facilities starting from facility identification up to procurement and installation of equipment and instrumentations.
Evaluate raw materials for suitability and standardize their specifications/requirements. Work with the procurement and finance team to select materials (excipients/active ingredients) that meet financial goals and contribute to cost saving initiatives of the company.
Recommend ingredients/processes which will improve the overall cost of each product. Identify substitutes for imported raw materials.
Coordinate with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, QC/QA and Supply Departments to ensure that projects are planned and executed in a timely manner.
Conduct field trials of new products and ensure product performance suiting the recommended application.
Provide technical support and training materials to marketing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing method development of different compounds by HPLC
Performing wt./ml, pH determination, average wt. of different formulation.
Performing Physicochemical assays (kinetic, intestinal fluid solubility, Log D, Log P and permeability)
Data generation, report formation, documentation and data reviewing of all analytical results.
Responsible for troubleshooting regulatory queries with the regulatory department (DRA) and clarifying it as if any.
Regular analysis and related documents
Able to execute independently method validation protocols of analytical methods for routine quality control.
Analysis of finished products
Calibration of Balance, pH meter, HPLC
Calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments
Performing analytical method development and validation of related substances.
