Responsibilities:
· Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects
· Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements
· Ensure compliance with security regulations
· Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines
· Prepare and manage the engineering department’s timelines
· Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources
· Hire engineers and coordinate their training

Requirements:
· Work experience as a director of software development or in a similar senior-level position
· Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces
· Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
· Good understanding of agile methodologies
· Leadership abilities with a strategic mind
· Excellent project management skills
Worked as CTO or Director of engineering in an IT Company.
Technical skills:
Preferred: C language, C++, Laravel, PHP, SQL Server, REST, JSON, Security Principles, Jira, Jenkins

· Solid hands-on experience with MS SQL/mySQL/MongoDB
· Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows or Linux stack.
· Strong knowledge and working experience with cloud infrastructure including deployment, monitoring, scaling and securing the environments.
· Hands-on experience with system configuration and Devops tools preferably Ansible, Bitbucket, Git, Jira and Confluence.
· Knowledge of Source Control: VSTS,VSS,TFS,Git,CVS,SVN
· AWS certifications are highly preferred.
· Understand data migration concepts and suggest the method of migration.
· Hands On with core AWS services such as EC2 / VPC/ S3/RDS
· Understand the different AWS Load Balancers and their applicability – AWS ELB/ALB/NLB
· Good understanding of DNS and configuration of AWS Route 53.
