POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting, the Financial Accountants, are primarily responsible for all aspects dealing with financial statements for Investment Funds. The position will also assist the Senior Manager with other duties as assigned.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Rollover financial statements, templates, notes and other documents for semi-annual and annual periods for Funds.
Prepare full set of financial statements for each Fund including notes.
Maintain spreadsheets with each Fund’s information relating to financial reporting.
Accurately process edits after draft financial statements have been sent.
Assist with upcoming regulations and IFRS as required.
Assist with departmental inquiries relating to financial reporting.
Work on various projects assigned by the Senior Manager.
Assist Senior Manager with client inquiries as needed.
Maintain client responses relating to various correspondence sent out during semi-annual and
annual periods and work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned

Hiring for Manager– Corporate Income Tax Reporting for Mumbai Location for a Fund and Fiduciary company
Designation: Manager – Corporate Income TaxLocation: MumbaiSalary: 6 to 11 LPAExperience: Must be a CA with 2-5 years of Taxation experienceQualification: Must be a CA As part of the Corporate Tax team this role provides the provision of international tax compliance services
(including tax compliance issues relating to Transfer Pricing and Permanent Establishments) to the
Company’s international client portfolio. Initially the role will have a weighting towards UK based
companies, however the expectation is that the portfolio will develop to include other countries as well
Some responsibilities of the role are included below but this list is not exhaustive:
1. Estimation and payment of corporate taxes
2. Review and payment withholding taxes (other than payroll)
3. Preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate tax, withholding tax, other business tax returns but
not including payroll) with supporting corporate tax computations
4. Ad-hoc advisory relating corporate tax
5. Preparation of tax provision for annual statutory accounts or other more frequent statements
6. Statutory audit support from taxation perspective
7. Assistance in relation to any Tax Authority audit and litigation
8. Updating tax tracker and management reports as required
9. Improving efficiency of tax compliance and providing service within agreed and budgeted hours
10. Responding emails in 24 hours as per Policy and attend all scheduled meetings
11. Providing support and development to supervisors and other team members
Key accountabilities
1. Ensure a clear understanding of Client requirements and the terms for services to be provided.
2. Manage a portfolio of Clients for responsible countries, delivering timely advice, assessment and
analysis and documentation solutions as agreed with the Client.
3. Ensure timely filing of all the tax returns and tax payment, also ensure appropriate advice and
assistance is sought by relevant Affiliates in receiving countries and that those services are managed
to maximum effect.
4. Ensure the work for each Client is progressed as agreed and that problems/issues are highlighted as
early as possible in the process and managed to a positive outcome.
5. Participate in ad-hoc projects which develop the most competitive and cost effective product.
6. Keep abreast of developments in international tax that will impact the Client base.
7. Ensure files/documentation kept on Clients behalf are maintained to appropriate internal and external
legislative requirements.
8. Ensure regular update of filings/payments on compliance portal and OSC.
9. Provide ad-hoc support to other taxation team as requested.
10. Ensure timesheets are submitted as required ensuring they accurately reflect weekly activity for self
as well as for the team.
11. Ensure work is accurately inputted into appropriate tracking systems.
12. Review the circumstances of each Client to identify potential business development opportunities for
other services offered by comany
13. Supervise the tax team ensuring they are committed and motivated to servicing client needs and that
workload is effectively distributed throughout the team. Support the Company’s development of
systems and standards to ensure quality and timeliness of services provided by the tax team.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
1. Specialist knowledge
A working knowledge of International Tax and Compliance best practices.
2. Oral & Written Communication

Able to facilitate meetings (including teleconferences) dealing with challenging or technical issues.
Able to think on ones feet and produce a confident response despite pressure.
Has a high standard of written and oral English and can display information in a format to assist
understanding, impact and professionalism. Additional language skills desirable.
3. IT Skills
Proficient use of Word and Excel and office systems – can extract and manage data efficiently.
Additional financial system experience favorable.
4. Numerical Skills
Uses figures, tables and other numerical data to carry out a full range of calculations efficiently and
accurately.
5. Organizational Awareness

6. Attention to detail

(or 6-7 years in total) in audit /accounting firm.Qualification: Ideally qualified in CA, ICWA or similar qualifications with comprehensive specialist knowledge of relevant practices, industry trends and issues in Compliance and Statutory Accounts.
Key accountabilities
1. Liaise with the Client and key internal stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of Client
requirements and the terms for services to be provided.
2. Manage the Compliance Team ensuring Client services are provided within agreed terms
3. Gain a full understanding of the reporting requirements relevant to the countries allocated (specific
focus on UK based companies), as allocated to your team.
4. Ensure appropriate information is gathered from the Client to allow delivery of advice and services.
5. Establish systems to ensure the work for each Client is progressed as agreed and that
problems/issues are highlighted as early as possible in the process and managed to a positive
outcome.
6. Ensure that all filings are completed in line with individual country reporting timelines, and plan work
to ensure that clients are provided with sufficient time to review filings, prior to the filing deadline.
7. Liaise with auditors and external affiliates as appropriate, so as to ensure that all local GAAP
requirements are fulfilled.
8. Review and finalize the reconciliations between local accounts and the clients’ management
accounts, so as to ensure that the client is provided with a full and detailed explanation of the
differences between each set of reports.
9. Liaise with the relevant parties (i.e. CSD, Clients, Affiliates, internal departments) at regular
intervals, as dictated by the needs of the services being delivered, in order to deliver work on time
and resolve issues.
10. Ensure appropriate advice and assistance is sought by Affiliates in relevant countries and that
those services are managed to maximum effect, and within an agreed timeline.
11. Review the circumstances of each Client to identify potential business development opportunities.12. Ensure the Compliance Team are committed and motivated to servicing client needs and that
workload is effectively distributed throughout the team.
13. Establish key performance criteria for the Compliance Team and ensure standards are met,
managing any performance issues as appropriate.
14. Work with the Regional Compliance Manager to develop services and processes .
15. Keep abreast of developments in Compliance/Statutory Accounts that will impact the Client base.
16. Ensure the prescribed processes for the documentation and storing of Clients Statutory Accounts
are fully adhered to in line with country specific legislation and internal procedures.
17. Prepare and agree budgets and forecasts with the Regional Compliance Manager. Establish
systems to review and control budgets preparing contingencies as necessary.
18. Provide support to other compliance managers and Regional Compliance Managers as requested.
19. Ensure the Compliance Team are committed to using, and offering their input on possible areas of
improvement, all internal systems, such as Compliance Tracker, OsC and Sharepoint.
