Position name: Software Engineer (Server)

Experience range: 3 to 4 years of relevant experience

Salary Range: 3.0 L to 5.0 L p.a. (negotiable based on skills and experience level)

Notice period range::-No preference, but shorter the better.

Technical skill set:
Mandatory Technical skills/must haves
(without which resume will not be considered):
 Experience in java OR node.js (one of the two)
 Experience of relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
 Experience in working with Linux Server environment (Ubuntu Server) using
command line
 Understanding of how remote servers work (load balancing, database mirroring etc.)
 Some know-how of database security such as
o Database Encryption
o Data Anonymisation

Good to haves:
 Some hands-on experience with other frameworks like .NET/C#, python, Angular etc.
 Experience in working with Windows Server
 Experience in developing standalone applications for Windows, Linux and MacOS
 Working knowledge of Digital Ocean/AWS/Microsoft Azure etc.
 Understanding of common security protocols such as SSL/TLS

Key Job responsibilities:
 The hired candidate will work with a team of other engineers to develop
server-side programs and applications, APIs etc.
 He/she should communicate well with the team, understand the requirements
and develop the code in a clean and efficient manner.
 The candidate will be responsible for doing research on how to implement
various requirements and making informed decisions in a timely manner.
 The candidate is expected to maintain proper documentation and version
control of the applications.

 The candidate should take active part in weekly review meetings and put forth
various ideas or solutions to problems.

Work Location and Hours
 Normally the employees are expected to be present in Pune office during core
business hours (10 am to 4 pm) and maintain an average of 9 working hours
per day in the normal run.
 During Covid-19 pandemic situation, the candidate can expect to work from
home on most days and report to office only when necessary.
 All Sundays will be off. First and Third Saturday of each month is also off,
however Candidate must be willing to work on off days to meet any deadlines
or make up the shortfall of working hours.
 The position is in our Pune office and requires minimal outstation travel (<5%)
