Responsibilities
- -Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates for various positions within the hospital, including but not limited to physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
- Collaborate with department managers and stakeholders to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions and specifications accordingly.
- Utilize a variety of recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to source and attract candidates.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the organization.
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and other outreach activities to promote the hospital as an employer of choice.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee the recruitment process outsourcing, as needed.
- Develop and maintain recruitment metrics and reports to track key performance indicators, analyze recruitment trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment to ensure compliance and optimize recruitment strategies.
- Mentor and coach junior recruitment staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development and performance improvement.
