Responsibilities and Duties

− Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.

− Maintain knowledge of all service offerings by the company.

− Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients.

− Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business and maintain prospective client database update.

− Get complete documentation of requirement from the client or create doc as per requirement.

− Online Bidding on Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, etc.

− Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers.

− Identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.

− Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.

− Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them.

− Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

− Maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.

− Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

− Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

− Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

Required Experience and Qualifications

− Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in business development role.

− Must be an excellent communicator with professional writing, speaking & phone skills.

− Ability to manage multiple clients.

− Ability to translate incomplete customer requirements into actionable tasks.

− Strong Technical or Software Sales Experience.

− Good communication, negotiation, convincing and client servicing skills.

− Must be process oriented and consistent performer

− Ability to work independently and multi task in a fast-paced environment.

− Must be confident, Self-motivated with go- getter attitude.
