Role Overview
We are hiring a result-oriented Area Sales Manager – Electrical with proven experience in Fire and Surveillance Systems. The role demands a strong mix of technical understanding and B2B project sales expertise, with a focus on driving revenue through government, industrial, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to project closure, while building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Execution • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across Government, Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional sectors • Drive territory growth and revenue generation as per assigned targets • Build a strong project pipeline through proactive lead generation and market mapping Client Engagement & Solution Selling • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to understand project requirements • Recommend and position Fire Alarm, Detection, Sprinkler, and Surveillance (CCTV) solutions • Deliver effective presentations and solution-based selling to key decision-makers Technical & Commercial Handling • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOQs, and compliance documentation • Handle tendering processes, including participation in pre-bid meetings and submission of bids • Work closely with OEMs and internal technical teams for solution design and costing Sales Cycle Management • Manage the complete sales lifecycle: lead generation → proposal → negotiation → order closure → payment followup • Ensure timely project conversion and collections • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting Candidate Profile (Must-Have) • 3–7 years of core experience in Fire & Safety / Surveillance / Electrical Project Sales • Hands-on experience in: o Fire Alarm & Detection Systems o Fire Suppression / Sprinkler Systems o CCTV / Surveillance Systems • Strong exposure to B2B / Project Sales environments (Government / Industrial / Commercial clients) • Good understanding of tendering, BOQ preparation, and techno-commercial documentation • Ability to independently handle clients and close deals Preferred Qualifications & Skills • Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • High level of ownership, accountability, and target orientation • Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven sales environment • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory Ideal Candidate Background • Currently working with System Integrators / Fire & Safety Companies / CCTV / Electrical Solution Providers • Experience in handling large projects, tenders, and institutional sales • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision
