Develop Skills & knowledge to become a Regional Sales Manager
*Tasks & Activities*
1)Revenue Target
Do weekly & monthly planning of customer visits
Submit the Daily visit and expense report weekly
Make a minimum 15 customer visits in a week /60 visits in a month
Make at least 3 outstation visits per month.
Identify and appoint the dealers and OEMs in new regions (Rajastan, Uttarakhand, Punjab,Himachal & UP)
Send e-mails and use other communication channels to engage with customer
Focus on all amazing & Breadwinning customer segments by taking details from print media, social media, cold knocks and referrals
Ensure that we win the order for the inquires provided by management from different sources.
Study and research about the customer activities and do proper presentation about our company and products in front of them
Make lead entries in CRM and generate quotation and visit reports
Achieve payment collection targets as per payment terms without any delay
Keep awareness of payment terms and do the necessary calls and e mails for ensure the payment on time
Coordinate between sales coordinator, Accountant and customer for payments
Make and manage a team of sales engineer, Service engineer & service franchisee
*2) Key account management*
Schedule regular check-ins, reviews, and strategic meetings
Develop and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with decision-makers and influencers
Act as the primary point of contact for all client communications
Analyze the client’s industry, challenges, and business model
Understand their pain points, goals, and KPIs
Propose tailored solutions and value-added services to meet client-specific needs
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., R&D, quality, Service, production, dispatch)
Ensure compliance with terms and conditions
Identify opportunities to sell additional products or services
Address client concerns and complaints swiftly and professionally
Manage renewals, renegotiations, and contract amendments
Identify and schedule meetings and training sessions with customer team members
*3)New customer acquisition- End user, OEM & dealer*
Identify and make the list of customers from the amazing & breadwinning customer segments to target
Keep close touch with decision makers with consistent follow ups with e mails, calls, what’s app messages, visits.
When required arrange combined visit with director or senior management
Identify the competitor activities and analyses the strength and weakness
Identify the mutually connected people to enforce our product acceptance
Record all service and repair calls and coordinate with service dept for immediate action
Coordinate with production, logistic and service department for smooth transport and installation of machines at customer end
Promote all our products in all amazing & breadwinning customer segments
Identify new customer segments for our products
Identify and apply innovative ways for promotion and marketing of our products
*4)Develop Skills & Knowledge to became a Regional Sales Manager*
Identify the area of improvement in personnel and professional front
Attend the meetings and classes conducted by management
Do combined visits to learn the sales domain knowledge from senior people from the market
Achieve targets for recognition and promotion
Look for new courses, articles, contents available in media for improvement.
Improve the communication and interpersonal skills
Work ethically with the management for the development of organization
Show the intent to grow exponentially in the organisation
