Read More »Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager with a proven track record in B2B account based marketing & sales, ideally within SaaS (Software as a Service) industries. The Sales Manager will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies, generating leads, managing the sales funnel, and converting prospects into clients. A strong understanding of LinkedIn and email marketing is essential, as these will be the primary tools for outreach. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a drive to expand our customer base in the maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Sales Strategy & Planning:
◦ Develop and implement effective weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales plans and goals specific to the SaaS and maritime services industry.
◦ Monitor and analyze sales performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
◦ Collaborate with leadership to align sales strategies with overall business and marketing objectives.
2 Lead Generation & Conversion:
◦ Leverage LinkedIn, email campaigns, and other digital channels to identify and pursue potential leads within the maritime industry.
◦ Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to convert leads into paying customers.
◦ Provide tailored product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the value of our SaaS products and services.
3 Sales Funnel Management:
◦ Design, implement, and manage a structured sales funnel to track lead progress from initial contact to closing.
◦ Continuously optimize the sales process to improve conversion rates and overall sales effectiveness.
◦ Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, document interactions, and forecast sales.
4 Customer Acquisition:
◦ Explore and tap into various online platforms, maritime industry events, referrals, and partnerships to expand the customer base.
◦ Utilize innovative approaches to reach key decision-makers in ship management, maritime compliance, and other relevant sectors.
◦ Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
Requirements:
• Experience & Skills:
◦ Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, maritime services, or related industries.
◦ Strong understanding of LinkedIn outreach and email marketing for lead generation and nurturing.
◦ Proficient in CRM systems and sales funnel management.
◦ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
◦ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Education:
◦ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
