Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Core PHP or modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony, along with a solid understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap).
The role involves developing dynamic web platforms, integrating APIs, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring smooth communication between frontend and backend systems. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the full stack and delivering clean, maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Core PHP or frameworks like Laravel / CodeIgniter / Symfony.
· Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and external systems.
· Create dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
· Design, implement, and optimize MySQL / MariaDB database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
· Write secure, reusable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
· Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways.
· Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, Session-based).
· Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver quality solutions.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications.
· Ensure optimal application performance, scalability, and security.
· Stay updated with the latest trends in PHP, web frameworks, and modern web development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in PHP web development.
· Strong proficiency in Core PHP and at least one PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.).
· Excellent understanding of MySQL or MariaDB, including schema design and query optimization.
· Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON data handling.
· Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
· Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket).
· Knowledge of server environments (Apache / Nginx) and deployment workflows.
· Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
· Basic understanding of security best practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection prevention).
Good to Have (Optional)
· Experience with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or Vue.js / React frontend integration.
· Exposure to Headless CMS (e.g., Strapi, WordPress REST API).
· Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure).
· Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Microservices architecture.
· Experience with payment gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
· Understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
· Knowledge of API documentation tools like Postman or Swagger.
