Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing the company’s marketing strategy to drive product awareness, consumer engagement, and most important productive LEAD GENERATION resulting into sales growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the FMCG sector, brand management, and market trends, alongside leadership skills to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, and external agencies in such a way that there should be multiple ways leads should be generated on a daily basis across each revenue channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development & Execution
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to drive brand growth, awareness, and product demand in key markets which results into lead generation.
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to shape marketing tactics and ensure the brand remains competitive. Resulting into keeping product and offering always on top and at the competitive edge.
Lead the creation and execution of both short-term and long-term marketing campaigns for product launches, promotions, society events, in store events and seasonal initiatives.
Brand Management
Oversee the development and implementation of brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels.
Ensure consistent brand voice and presence across all marketing materials, packaging, and communication channels.
Manage brand equity and track key brand metrics to ensure alignment with business goals.
Market Research & Consumer Insights
Conduct market research to understand consumer needs, preferences, and emerging trends.
Leverage consumer insights to create actionable marketing strategies and ensure product offerings meet customer demand.
Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
Lead the digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
Develop engaging content for social media platforms and digital channels to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.
Monitor and report on digital marketing performance, optimizing campaigns for ROI.
Advertising & Promotions
Plan and manage advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including TV, print, radio, digital, and in-store promotions on regular and effective basis
Collaborate with external agencies, media partners, and influencers to amplify brand reach and deliver impactful marketing messages.
Develop and manage promotional offers, discount programs, and loyalty initiatives to drive sales and customer retention.
Sales Collaboration & Support
Work closely with the Sales team to align marketing strategies with sales goals and identify opportunities to drive revenue.
Provide marketing materials, product information, and training to support the sales team’s efforts in the field.
Develop trade marketing strategies and support key accounts with tailored marketing initiatives.
Budget Management & Reporting
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across various campaigns and activities.
Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and present regular marketing performance reports to senior management.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work culture.
Oversee the day-to-day activities of marketing team members and provide guidance on key projects.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and consultants to deliver marketing initiatives effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced marketing qualifications is a plus.
Experience:
5-7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the FMCG sector or consumer products industry.
Proven experience in brand management, product marketing, digital marketing, and market research.
Strong understanding of FMCG sales cycles, consumer behavior, and retail dynamics.
Experience in managing marketing teams and working cross-functionally with sales, product development, and other departments.
Skills:
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEM, SEO, social media platforms, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
