Should be well conversant with drawing study & taking out item, quantity, material consumption and cost estimation.
Should be aware about the mode of measurement applicable as per Indian standard codes.
Should be responsible for making preliminary and detailed budgets.
Variations from approved estimates need to be summarized and highlighted to the
management whenever required.
To identify estimate discrepancies through validation of variance report and correct /
incorporate genuine feedback / information gathered from project sites and costing reports,
into future estimates to improve accuracy of estimates.
To coordinate with other departments to obtain relevant inputs, details and decisions with
respect various disciplines for estimate preparation.
Preparing the detailed estimate with reconciled and item rates for all activities involved in
various disciplines.
Should be responsible for generating various reports (estimated quantity v/s actual quantity).
Should be able to track project actual expenditure & cost monitoring periodically.
Should be well aware about the reconciliation statement of material.
Shall be able to coordinate with external Auditors for quantification audits and reasoning and
respective clearances.
BILLING Works
✔ Should be responsible for Preparation, checking and billing for various Works, Materials and
Services.
✔ Coordination with site team for collection of data and documentation with respect to
Invoices and coordination with Auditors for resolving billing requirements and assuring
fulfilment for the same.
✔ Should have basic knowledge of tender documents and be able understand contractual
requirements and similarly should be able to collect & coordination for respective
contractual documentation.
✔ Shall have Basic understanding of Bank Guarantees, retentions, Invoices, RA Bills, test
certificates, contractual checking, debit notes, Advances, Recoveries, Taxes and payment
certificates associated with Billing process with respect to orders and Contracts.
✔ Shall have basic understanding of HR Related compliances like Labour licenses, WC policies,
etc. and shall be able to coordinate with HR Department for the same for fulfilment.
✔ Coordination with Finance department and assurance of fulfilment of all formalities and documentation for smooth payments.
✔ Shall be able to perform document control activities related to Billing.
